Chennai: It was a fatal fall for a man from the fourth floor of Slum Board housing, T P Chathiram. According to sources, Bharath (20) who lived in H Block of the housing complex, went to the terrace last night to sleep.
It is said that he slipped and fell from the building. Bharath earned a living by playing drums at funerals. Police said that he often consumed tobacoo products and alcohol. His grandmother resided in E Block and his parents lived in Madhavaram.
He fell at 11 pm yesterday and was rushed to Government Kilpauk Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
