Chennai: Aiming at capturing the higher grossing festive season gift sales, Bombay Dyeing, the flagship company of the Wadia Group has come up with what it claims will be an alternative to traditional gifting.

In a release, Bombay Dyeing stated that it has added ‘Bedlinen’ to its range and claims will be suitable for gifting.

Bombay Dyeing has said this will be the first step towards its new approach of ‘Gifting Redefined’ which is expected to create a stir in the home décor market.

With a mandate to kick start exponential growth, CEO, Bombay Dyeing Retail, Aloke Banerjee, said, ‘We are very positive on the success of this festive gifting campaign. We are expecting an enormous response on this concept by the consumers. This optimism is based on the movement of the market towards stability and the increase in demand coming from tier two and three cities which has boosted Bombay Dyeing to expand into these towns.’

Head – Marketing, Bombay Dyeing Retail, Altaf Madraswalla, said, ‘The campaign has been conceptualized on the basis of changing consumer preferences towards gifting. What can be better than gifting bed linen sets in varied colors, patterns and designs. It is an ideal gift for every occasion. We are using top social media and digital platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube to deliver our message to consumers.’
