Chennai: Late veteran director K Balachander’s wife Rajam (84) passed away today in Chennai. Before Balchander’s daughter, Pushpa spearheaded Kavithalayaa Productions, Rajam’s name was credited in most of the films produced by the production house including Sindhu Bhairavi, Naan Mahan Alla and Enakkul Oruvan.
The cremation of Rajam Balachander will take place later today. Rajinikanth, Vivek and many other celebrities who have a close association with Kavithalayaa Productions paid their last respects to Rajam Balachander.
