Chennai: Tamil Nadu’s B Aaditya did the star turn taking six for 59 against host Hyderabad to give his team the crucial first innings lead in the South Zone U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy on the final day’s play in Hyderabad.
This was Aaditya’s second six-wicket haul in five matches. Resuming from its overnight score of 148 for six, Hyderabad was bowled out for 215, conceding a lead of 54 runs. In the second innings, TN’s batting collapsed before reaching 110 for nine. But thanks to its lead, TN received 3 points while Hyderabad settled for one.
