Dhanush’s most anticipated gangster entertainer, Maari 2, directed by Balaji Mohan, has been certified UA by the Censor Board.
Sai Pallavi plays the romantic interest of Dhanush who essays the role of a naughty don.
The film also has Robo Shankar, Krishna, Varalakshmi, and Vinoth in important roles. Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas plays the baddie in the film for which Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music. Produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, the makers will be soon releasing the first look teaser and then, an announcement on the release date will be made.
Dhanush is currently busy with the shoot of his directorial film and he will soon begin shooting for his yet-untitled film with director Vetrimaaran. The multi-faceted actor also confirmed films with Ratsasan director Ram Kumar, Pariyerum Perumal director Mari Selvaraj and a film with his Kodi director Durai Senthilkumar.

Sources close to the makers say that Censor Board officials enjoyed the movie thoroughly and have given U right away. The movie is expected to hit screens soon. |
