Chennai: It was a sight for sore eyes. On Monday, the Marundeeswarar Temple in Tiruvanmiyur, Chennai, had organised sangabhishekam for the Lord.

It being the third Monday of the month of Karthigai, that is dedicated to Lord Shiva, the abhishekam with 1,008 conches was arranged.

The conches were arranged in a beautiful pattern of Shiva Linga, and topped with red roses.

The abhishekam drew a lot of devotees to the temple on Monday.
