Chennai: A General Manager of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has filed a police complaint that unidentified persons broke his car window and stole valuables yesterday.
According to sources, the complainant Nagaraj said his daughter had returned from abroad after completing her studies. After picking her from the airport, Nagaraj had stopped for lunch at a hotel in GST Road, Alandur.
He had parked the vehicle on the road. When they came out after finishing lunch they found the car window broken and valuables missing.
In his police complaint, Nagaraj said that three sovereigns of gold, which his daughter removed and kept in the car was missing apart from a laptop, ATM cards, documents and the daughters certificates. CCTV cameras showed three persons breaking the glass window and fleeing with the items.
