To increase affordable options to Uber users in India, Uber Lite now has affordable shared ride Uber Pool and digital payments leader Paytm in its service portfolio.
Using Uber Pool, customers will soon be able to share a ride and save money, even if they have an older phone or they’re in a place with low connectivity, a release stated.
Paytm is also added to Uber Lite too. Using Paytm, users can top-up, recharge their balance, book and pay for an Uber- even in low connectivity, the release stated. Both services will be rolling out in the coming weeks, Uber has said.
