Namma Ooru Foundation has been spreading the ‘Throw differently’ mantra towards various greening efforts at schools, communities and temples.
A press release said, “We have been making these transformations with a lean team of dedicated volunteers. The NGO is at a tipping point now, with a compelling agenda to scale up and replicate our models to reach far and wide, employing best practices acquired and building prototypes. This calls for additional resources and is the genesis of this ‘Trash it Right’ crowd funding initiative.”
