Chennai: After weeks of continuous decline, petrol prices today rose between 9-30 paise per litre.
In the national capital Delhi, petrol is priced at Rs 70.29 per litre, up 9 paise compared to yesterday’s price of Rs 70.20.
Diesel in Delhi is priced at Rs 67.66, unchanged from yesterday.
In Chennai, petrol price increased by 12 paise to Rs 72.94 as against Rs 72.82 on Wednesday but diesel price remains unchanged at Rs 68.26.
In Mumbai, petrol price rose by 11 paise per litre to Rs 75.91 as against Rs 75.80 on Wednesday. Diesel in this city is retailing at Rs 67.66, same as yesterday.
However, in Kolkata, petrol price fell by 90 paise per litre to Rs 72.38 and diesel price fell by Rs 1 per litre to Rs 66.40.
