Chennai: D Thiyagarajan’s (6/24) six-wicket haul went in vain as Gems Cricket Club lost to Sridhar Cricket Club by 20 runs in the TNCA Fourth Division ‘D’ match here.

Sridhar was bowled out for a paltry 114 in 30 overs, courtesy Thiyagarajan’s stunning spell. But, Gems batted badly as it lost all its wickets for 94 runs.

Kohinoor XI 236 for 8 in 50 overs (M Santhosh Pandian 46, SJ Mahathevan 45) lost to Purasawalkam CC 237 for 4 in 40.2 overs (AR Siva Murugan 89*, Shubhang Mishra 61)

Sridhar CC 114 in 30 overs (D Thiyagarajan 6/24) beat Gems CC 94 in 35.2 overs (V Santhosh Kumar 3/18, S Mathivanan 3/18)

Youngsters CC 80 in 32.3 overs (M Gopal 3/24, R Krishna 3/34) lost to Triplicane CC 82 for 2 in 16.3 overs
