Chennai: School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan today said the syllabus content for Plus-Two will be reduced.
Addressing the press, he said, “The students of class XII seem to be loaded with a lot of content in their curriculum which seems to complicate and make their preparation difficult. So, from the next academic year, we have planned to reduce the syllabus to a simpler scale.”
The Tamilnadu government withdrew its proposal to provide a consolidated mark sheet for classes 11 and 12 earlier last month.
Following that, this step has also been implemented by the School Education Department to simplify HSC education in the State Board.
