Chennai: A section of producers today laid siege to Tamil Film Producers Council office in T Nagar and locked the office alleging that the president of the council, Vishal, has been acting against their interests.

At around 9 am, film personalities, including A L Azhagappan, J K Ritheesh, Suresh Kamakshi, Sakthi Chidambaram, along with a few others, reached the office at T Nagar and raised slogans against Vishal.

They said, “The present office-bearers in Producers Council have failed to fulfil their promises.”

Coming down heavily on Vishal, they said, “We will file a complaint against him with Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami soon.”
