Chennai: “Action should be taken against those involving in sexual crime in such a way they should think twice before committing the same again,” said Chennai City Commissioner A K Vishwanathan.
This morning he had an interactive session with members of Social Welfare Department, representatives of several NGO’s and Police Inspectors at City Police Commissioner’s office, Vepery.
“He gave the Police Inspectors guidance on how to deal with women complainants and senior citizens,” sources said.
Social Welfare Department Commissioner V Amudhavalli was also present at the meeting.
Nearly 100 Police Inspectors attended the session, apart from the Intelligence Officers and City Crime Branch Department.
