Come 10 January, Ajith’s Viswasam will hit the screens. Produced by Sathyajothi Films, it is directed by Siruthai Siva.
Nayanthara plays the heroine. The star cast includes Vivek, Robo Shankar, Thambi Ramaiah, Kovai Sarala, Sandhya Janak, Yogi Babu, Kalairani, Bose Venkat, Sujatha Sivakumar, Ramesh Thilak, Jangiri Madhumitha and Namo Narayana.
Speaking about the film, Ruben, the movie’s editor, says, “Viswasam is not just a mass entertainer for the festive season but also a beautiful family film. It has all elements to entertain all sections of audience.”
He adds, “The story is racy, filled with action. There are emotional sequences too. Cutting the trailer was most challenging. It has to give Ajith fans a high and yet maintain a balance. I had to work on lots of versions on the suggestions of Siva and my producer. We are now happy as a team that we have delivered it well.”
Asked what was his favourite part in Viswasam was, Ruben says, “The action sequences are done beautifully, especially the rain fight followed by another one in the second half where Ajith would bash up the opponents with his fists and in-between utter some mass punchlines.”
There will be lots of freshness in the action sequences in Viswasam, says stunt choreographer Dhilip Subburayan.
Heaping laurels on Ajith, he says, “He is polite, humble and a gentleman. He is always admired by every stuntman for the way he treats them with respect. When it comes to profession, he never interferes or involves in our ideas and is always ready to go by our decisions.”
Ajith’s bike stunts will be the USP of the movie, he adds.
