Sanjay Dutt

Puducherry: AICC secretary Sanjay Dutt had recently alleged that Lt Governor Kiran Bedi was posted in the Union territory by the Centre to destabilise the Puducherry government.

Dutt had accused her of stopping implementation of various welfare schemes in Puducherry. Hitting back at Dutt, Bedi on Friday termed his allegations false and malicious.

Through a WhatsApp message to reporters, Bedi said in her two and a half years of service in the Union Territory, there was not a single instance of such situation. She said that the good work being carried out by her to make Puducherry cleaner, safer and financially better was not accepted by certain people and said that such statements were regrettable.
