Chennai: A day after actor Simbu urged his fans to do milk abishekam to his cut-outs on the day of the release of his movie Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven, an agitated State president of Tamilnadu Milk Dealers Welfare Association, S A Ponnusamy, is all set to file a police complaint against the actor for his remarks.
Simbu released a video yesterday in which he requested fans to celebrate the release of his film in a huge manner. He asked fans to keep cut-outs bigger than ever before, as many banners as possible and not to do paal abhishekam with milk packets, but huge milk cans.
In response, Ponnusamy took a dig at Simbu and said this will lead to law and order problems across the State. “Actors should care for the poeple. There are many who could not lay hands on a packet of milk even today. Urging his fans to waste money and prevent milk from reaching needy by doing paal abhishekam is condemnable,” he said.
