At the recent media meet of Charlie Chaplin 2, Prabhu Deva said that film fraternity should accept criticism. The film is a comedy entertainer and a sequel to his 2002 blockbuster with the same name.

The choreographer turned actor / director Prabhu Deva said, “When someone praises our film, we feel happy and accept it. In the same way, we should also accept criticism. We also feel happy when people criticize the work of others and I think, one should have the same mindset for their films too.”

“Shooting for Charlie Chaplin 2 was a happy experience. I’ve watched the film and it has come out really well. I wish this film gets third, fourth, and fifth installments in the coming years,” he added talking about the film.

CC, directed by Sakthi Chidambaram, created a record in Tamil cinema as it became the first to be remade in six Indian languages, including in Bollywood. It is produced by Amma Creations T Siva.

Nikki Galrani, Prabhu, and Adah Sharma play the female leads. Veteran Prabhu will be seen in a crucial role. Composer Amrish’s songs in the film are already popular, especially Chinna Machchan that has crossed 70 million views.
