Chennai: To mark World Cancer Day 4 February, Westminster Healthcare, Chennai is organising a free awareness talk on various aspects of cancer.
This talk, which is open to all, aims to make people aware of the deadly condition that claims lakhs of lives every year due to prevalent ignorance, late detection, diagnosis and treatment, a press release said.
The panel will consist of an array of doctors including Dr P Dhanasekar (surgical oncologist), Dr M Sivakumar (surgical oncologist), Dr K Kalaichelvi (medical oncology) and Dr Shirley Andrews (family physician).
The talk will be held at the hospital premises on Nungambakkam High Road, opposite the Park Hotel, 4 February, from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
