Valentine’s Day is just a week away. People across the globe have plans to ask out the person they secretly love. This is also the time when lovers officially become couples and then there are those who are about to make the first move, by going out for a date.

Valentine’s Day is special for millions for this is a day when memories are made and bonds get stronger than ever. It is also the time when lovers wish to dress well. Last week, we saw what women can wear to look pretty sharp. For this week, News Today brings out simple suggestions for men to please their love.

OLD SCHOOL

No matter how hard you try, women often love when men wear a simple yet stylish, casual clothing. Dark jeans worn along with casual shirts, folded till the elbows is perhaps one of the easiest ways to impress a girl. Opt for a checked or a solid coloured shirt. Don’t forget to wear a watch. Converse shoes that match your clothing will complete your look.

BLAZE UP WITH BLAZERS

Another style men can opt for is by wearing a slim dark denim and a navy blazer. Dress them up while still keeping it rugged with a chambray shirt, a tie and checked scarf (if perhaps you date at a chill hill station).

POSH DATE?

Have you decided to take your date to a high-end restaurant? Perhaps a cozy rooftop dining place with subtle music and light wine? Then it’s better if you go classic. Take inspiration from Christian Grey of 50 Shades of Grey. Wearing suit for a date may sound Western but is probably one of the most sophisticated styles adopted by men from as early as 1930s.

Interestingly, in a recent study conducted by the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom, women found men a lot more attractive when they wore suit. A dark suit with pressed pants and polished shoes will definitely leave women appreciating your sense of swag.

BEYOND STYLE
In the end, what makes a person really look handsome is not the dress they wear but the way they behave. Men, be gentlemen. Treat your lady the way she deserves to be treated.
