Chennai: Wavin and Korattur areas in Ambattur do not have proper sidewalks, state residents.

“It has been ages since sidewalks were laid in the neighbourhood,” they complain.

“We keep hearing about Smart City projects and the likes; however, it seems that Ambattur and neighbouring areas are left out of the project despite our coming under the Corporation limits. Further, no platforms mean residents are forced to walk on the roads, leading to safety issue. Hope the problem gets rectified soon,” said Gomathi, a resident.
