Reel is an usual story but we have tried something different and unique with narration, especially the climax, says director Munusamy.

Udhayaraj, who acted in several short films, debuts as hero. A newbie Avantika is the heroine, he adds.
According to Udhayaraj, “I am so thankful to the entire team for having given me an opportunity to be apart of this film. It revolves around two different lifestyles. Precisely, this is a film about a boy who has been from the affluent family background and the girl from village comes to the city for her livelihood. Her innocuous nature makes everyone cheat her. So what unfolds next is how these characters come across each other. The story will take a turn of events by second hour with lots of suspense.”
Speaking about his embarkation of journey in film industry, the actor says that he had been a part of few short films in Malayalam and got more offers there as well. However, his main intention was to act in a Tamil movie and he is now happy that it has happened through the movie âReelâ.
