Chennai: Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi multi-specialty hospital jointly with GMR Varalakshmi Foundation recently observed ‘Road Safety Week’ at the hospital campus by conducting a live demo on safety precautions and talk show to emphasise the need for awareness.
According to a press release, “The event was headed by COO of the hospital, A Mahalingam, and GM of the foundation, Bharathi, along with the coordinator, Prasad, and the hospital team of medical superintendent, Dr P Soundararajan, chief human resource officer, K Srinivasan, nursing superintendent, Umarani, and head of EMS, Gunasekaran.”
“Dr Soundararajan and Prasad gave a detailed note on the observation of traffic rules and other safety measures to be adhered to on the road. A live demo by Gunasekaran helped the students in understanding how to dispense emergency care and post-trauma management. A quiz on road safety and posters displayed at the venue helped in driving the theme of road safety most effectively,” said the release.
