Actor Vikranth’s Bakrid, directed by Jagdeesan Subu, saw its teaser released online Saturday. It speaks about the bonding between a man and his camel.
Bankrolled by M S Murugaraj, the movie features Vasunthra as heroine. M S Baskar plays a meaty role in the movie.
Shooting for the movie is complete and post production works are on. Directors A R Murugadoss, Atlee, actors Vijay Sethupathi, Vishnu Vishal and Arya and music composer Anirudh launched the Teaser in their official twitter accounts.
Bakrid has music by D Imman, editing by Antony L Ruben and stunts by Dhilip Subbarayan. Plans are on for a release this summer. “There has never been a film based on camels in Indian cinema and this film will make up for it. It’s a mix of all genres and will be a surprise to the viewers,” says Vikranth.
