Chennai:Ā Members of Seeman-led Naam Tamilar Katchi allegedly hacked ‘Rajini’ Pazhani, an office-bearer of the Salem unit of Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM).
The incident took place this morning when Pazhani was walking on the road in Salem. A gang attacked him with sharp objects. He was rushed to Salem Government Hospital and is reportedly out of danger.
Later, a video surfaced of Pazhani with a bleeding face stating that Seemanās men had assaulted him. The video is now making the rounds on social media.
RMM district secretary and other functionaries looked him up at the hospital where he is undergoing treatment for the injuries.
It is said Pazhani had always opposed those who wrote social media posts against Rajinikanth.
Recently, Seeman had made comments about Rajinikanth which did not go down well with him and he had refuted it.
This is suspected to have resulted in the attack by Seeman’s men. The police have registered a case and are searching for the perpetrators.
