Hospet: “We had reminded Pakistan through the surgical strikes to mend its ways but it continues doing its activities,” said BJP President Amit Shah, expressing his grief over the suicide attack in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. At least 37 CRPF personnel were killed and five injured in the incident.

Addressing a meeting, Shah termed the attack as an unfortunate incident. He spoke about India’s 29 September 2016 surgical strike across the Line of Control which was carried out in response to a terrorist attack on an Indian Army base in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

Paying tributes to the martyred CRPF personnel, the BJP chief said the entire nation stood like a rock with their bereaved families.

AĀ Jaish-e-MohammedĀ (JeM)Ā suicide bomberĀ rammed a vehicle loaded with over 100 kg of explosives into a bus carrying Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel inĀ PulwamaĀ district yesterday. Apart from the 37 CRPF personnel who were killed five were injured in the incident. The suicide bomber was identified asĀ AdilĀ Ahmed, who had joined the Pakistan-based JeMĀ in 2018. The terror group has claimed responsibility for the suicide attack.

Many political leaders condemned the attack and India today withdrew the ā€˜Most-FavouredĀ Nation’ status to Pakistan. Finance MinisterĀ ArunĀ JaitleyĀ speaking to reporters said all efforts will be made to isolate Pakistan.
