Chennai: Riding on a century from L Vignesh, Triplicane Recreation Club earned a 11-run win over HSBC Recreation Club in the TNCA Lower Division League.
Vignesh’s 118 propelled his team to 271 for eight. In reply, HSBC was bowled out for 260 with Dinesh Raj Shanmugam’s knock of 92 going in vain. For Triplicane, R Yogender Sharma (3/63) and K Siddeshwaran (3/62) shared six wickets between them.
Elsewhere, D Suresh’s five for 44 enabled his team, Perambur United Club, to register a facile 59-run win over Lusuraj Cricket Club.
