Sivakarthikeyan is a busy man with multiple acting projects under his belt. Latest news is that he has resumed shooting for his sci-fi film with director Ravikumar and will also join hands with Irumbu Thirai director, PS Mithran for an exciting project.

The actor who celebrated his birthday Sunday revealed on Twitter yesterday that he has resumed shooting for his long-delayed science-fiction project with the Indru Netru Naalai fame director Ravikumar. The untitled project originally went on floors last June but had to be stalled for months as Siva got busy with other commitments.

Produced by RD Raja’s 24 AM Studios, AR Rahman is composing the music for the film and Nirav Shah cranks the camera. Sources say that the team has completed 40 per cent of the shoot and they are planning to complete the film by the end of this year. Rakul Preet Singh plays the female lead and Bhanupriya, Isha Koppikar, and Bollywood actor Sharad Kelkar are also playing pivotal characters.

As for the project with Irumbu Thirai director PS Mithran, Sivakarthikeyan will reportedly share screen space with Arjun Sarja. The project, which will be bankrolled by 24 AM Studios, was officially announced last November.

With the film slated to go on the floors very soon, reports have emerged that Kalyani Priyadarshan is most likely to be signed as the leading lady. Kalyani, daughter of veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan, is already part of Dulquer Salmaan’s Vaan.
