Veteran filmmaker-actor Cheran is back after a hiatus with his new feel-good emotional drama Thirumanam, which will hit the screens 1 March.
Comedian Thambi Ramaiah’s son Umapathy plays the lead role in the film which also has Sukanya, MS Baskar, Bala Saravanan, Kavya and Manobala in pivotal roles.
Besides these actors, Cheran also plays a key character in the film. Siddharth Vipin is composing the music for the film and Rajesh Yadav has cranked the camera.
Spekaing about the film, Chyeran, says, “Thirumanam reflects the life of common people and how money plays an important role and how shortage of it affects their life.”
Apart from this film, Cheran is also playing the lead in the thriller Rajavukku Check, directed by Mazhai-fame Raj Kumar.
