Initiation of lake development work at Madipakkam Ayyappa Nagar lake under Smart City Mission took place on 8 February (3 pm) at Lake-View Main Road.
MP Jayawardhan, former MLA Kandhan, MP Chitlapakkam Rajendran, Thiagarajan and Corporation officials participated.
Extension of walker’s path and LED lights throughout the lake bund are to be installed soon.
