Chennai: T Lalith Chockalingam’s century went in vain as Chettinad Vidyashram ‘A’ lost to St. Patrick’s MHSS ‘A’ by seven wickets in the TNCA-City Schools tournament for B Somasundaram U-14 Trophy here on Wednesday.
Lalith scored 107 (134b, 15×4) to help his team score 216 for eight in 50 overs. In reply, St. Patrick’s barely broke a sweat in chasing down that total with useful contributions from M Rushil Kumar (83 not out) and Rohan Prakash (68).
