Chennai startup Edsix Brainlab demonstrates game-based products at IIT

Chennai: Edsix Brainlab, a company incubated early at IIT Research Park ecosystem, participated in ‘Chennai Demo Day’ recently, organised by the IITM Incubation Center along with TiE Chennai.

It had set up a stall for visitors to have a hands-on experience on its puzzle and game based products. The exhibition cum demonstration saw the participation of more than 100 companies, attracting visitors including, industrialists, investors, researchers, academicians, budding entrepreneurs and students.

Edsix Brainlab are the creators of KinderAngels, SkillAngels and BlessedAngels, an online puzzle and game-based assessment and training programmes to enhance Higher Order thinking skills (HOTS) across pre-schoolers, school children, and for children with special needs.

During the event, the Edsix team described the products’ USPs such as personalized training, measured outcomes and sensible screen time. The data analytics presented through case studies demonstrated the improvements in every child who had undergone their programs. The products are currently offered through school tie-ups.

According to a press release, Edsix is incorporating cutting edge technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality into their training programmes for children, giving them a ‘near-real’ experience through virtual models. Their products are designed for global appeal. The press release also added that in addition to the Indian market, Edsix is making steady inroads into schools across UAE and Oman and will soon launch their services in US, China, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore.
