Chennai: An FIR has been registered by the Government Railway Police (GRP) after DMK whip R Sakkarapani lodged a complaint that his bag containing Rs one lakh cash, gold and phone has been stolen while he was travelling from Maduraii to the city.
According to police, MLA of Oddanchatram, Sakkarapani had reached Egmore Railway Station early this morning from Madurai in the Pandian Express.
On arrival, he realised the bag in which he kept his phone, two sovereigns of gold and cash was missing.
