Chennai: Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to use his good offi ces with his Pakistan counterpart Imran Khan to immediately release the captured Indian Air Force Pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan, back to India immediately, who is being treated, as prisoner of war in Pakistan soil.

Pakistan must treat Abhinandan with humane, and all diplomatic efforts should be put in use by Indian government to bring back the Wing Commander safely, he said in a press release.

“Pakistan claims to follow Islam, as its State religion. Therefore, they must know, long before the Geneva Convention came into effect, Holy Prophet, Muhammad had laid down clear rules and conditions of how the prisoners of war must be treated with respect and honour. I am sure, Pakistan will follow the Holy Prophet’s sayings in the case of IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan,” he said.

Meanwhile, Haj Association of India has congratulated Indian Air force and their pilots involved in the cleaning up terrorism process. “This attack is very well planned and executed on all terrorist outfits in Pakistan. This flawless operation has proved that we are the super power in this region and very much proud to be an Indian,” said Haj Association of India chairman A Aboobucker.
