Chennai: Chennai-based E Magic Animation Academy is organising an art work exhibition for students and public at Lalit Kala Akademi, from 12 to 18 March, between 10 am and 6 pm.
More than 500 students from different colleges are participating in the exhibition. Dark spell – a special edition of hard bound premium format graphic novel illustrated by Dr Ezhil Vendan would be released on the inaugural function of the gallery, a press release said.
Visual Arts and Viscom students are invited to display their work in the gallery. Best entry for the student’s section will win prizes including Wacom digital tablets and scholarships for advanced animation course.
Film director S P Muthuraman, actor Sasikumar, author Su Venkatesan and VFX supervisor for Baahubali 2 R C Kamalakannan will participate at the inaugural function on 12 March, at 5 pm.
