Chennai: Jyotika’s film with debutant director S Raj is titled as Raatchasi. She is reportedly playing a school teacher in a government school, who struggles to improve the educational standards of the students in her school.
The film also has Poornima Baghyaraj, Sathyan and Hareesh Paredi in important roles. Produced by SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures, plans are on for the release of the movie by the middle of this year.
Jyothika is currently acting in a movie being helmed by director Kalyaan. She shared the screen with veteran actress Revathy in the movie, which is being produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.
