Chennai: A senior citizen was arrested by the police for stabbing a neighbour over a quarrel at Villivakkam, Wednesday.
According to the police, Tamilanbu (33), a resident of Balaramapuram, Villivakkam did centering work for a living.
On Wednesday morning, while he was working, his neighbour Sundaramoorthy voiced his problem saying it was creating a lot of noise and disturbing him. A war of words broke out between the duo. In a fit of rage, Sundaramoorthy took a knife and stabbed Tamilanbu.
He was rushed to Kilpauk Government Hospital where he is undergoing treatment. Villivakkam police have registered a case and arrested Sundaramoorthy.
