Chennai: Three persons were arrested after the police busted a sex racket in Virugambakkam yesterday.
According to the police, the arrested have been identified as Rajaperumal, Balaji and Suresh who ran their ‘office’ on Natesan Road, Virugambakkam.
The police said the men posed as members of the film industry and offered women a chance in the films they were making.Ā They lured women into giving sexual favours for movie roles.
The police rescued two women from the trap and sent them to a government-run home in the city. The Virugambakkam police have registered a case.
