Chennai: Country’s largest luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz launched the AMG C 43 4MATIC coupé at Rs 75 lakh in the country.
The first ever two door coupe in the AMG 43 line, the car comes powered by a 3 litre V6 biturbo engine which generates 287kW (390hp) and 520Nm torque. Such power figures help the car accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.7 seconds.
Mercedes says the four wheel drive system has been reworked for the car that will send 69 per cent of its power to the rear axle. The maker also says the model has a nine-speed transmission with shortened shift times.
Mercedes has also packed the car with features such as new generation telematics NTG 5.5 with 10.25-inch high resolution media display, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting with 64 colours, multibeam LED headlamps with adaptive highbeam assist plus, among others.
