There are very few people in the South Indian fashion circle who wouldn’t know Pradaini Surva. The popular model who goes by the nickname Dawdles has already a sizeable 224k Insta followers! Now she is making her Kollywood debut in Bodhai Yeri Budhi Maari.
Directed by debutant K R Chandru, Bodhai Yeri Budhi Maari promises to be an edge-of-seat thriller with a unique story and strong characters. Pradaini says this is precisely the reason why she chose to test waters in acting.
She explains, “Personally, I have always looked upon certain female characters in the movies, which either 
inspire or enthrall the audiences. I believe that the actresses shouldnāt be depicted merely as Barbie dolls or glamorized emblems. When Chandru narrated me the story and my character, of Brindha, I instantly fell in love with her.”
Pradaini understands that every model isnāt an inborn actress, but few are really endowed with a vivified gift of becoming a performer. She believed her role in Chandru’s film will give her the scope to perform.
“It wasnāt just about my role, but each and every character in the movie had so much of values. Filmmaker KR Chandru is really talented and is someone that film industry will definitely praise him for his creative craftsmanship,” she adds.
Bodhai Yeri Budhi Maari is bankrolled by Sreenidhi Sagar of Rise East Entertainments Pvt Ltd with KP composing music and Balasubramaniam handling cinematography. Gopi Anand (Art) and Sabu Joseph (Editor) are the others in the technical team.
