Airaa is a supernatural film and not a horror thriller, says filmmaker K M Sarjun.
Airaa starring Nayanthara, Kalaiyarasan, Sudarsan Srinivasan, Sundaramurthy KS, Priyanka Ravindran, Karthik Jogesh, Siva Sankar and Yogi Babu among others is set for release 28 March. The trailer of the movie was out Wednesday.
Nayanthara plays a dual role – Bhavani and Yamuna. One is an urban vlogger and the other is a timid village girl with a dark complexion. Sarjun said that the audience will love the ghost he has shown in the film. “The film follows the template of the usual revenge film but the narration will be different,” he adds.
Sarjun, who made short films like Maa and Lakshmi before, says that he has handled an important topic which happens around the world. Produced by KJR Studios, Airaa will be released in maximum screens.
