Special MRTS trains to run till 12.35 am for IPL fans

Chennai: Southern Railways will be running special EMU trains on 23 and 31 March between Chennai Beach to Velacheri section for the benefit of IPL fans.

According to a press release, EMU special services on 23 March will run one passenger special between Chennai Beach to Velacheri and another passenger special from Velacheri to Chennai Fort will run as per the timings given below:

 

Chennai Beach to Velacheri passenger special

Station Chennai Beach to Velacheri passenger special (a/d)
Chennai Beach 10.50 pm
Chepauk 11 pm / 12 am
Tirumailai 12.09 am
Velacheri 12.35 am

Velacheri to Chennai Fort passenger special

Station Velacheri to Chennai Fort passenger special (a/d)
Velacheri 11.25 pm
Tirumailai 11.49 pm
Chepauk 11.58 pm / 12.03 am
Chennai Fort 12.10 am

Similarly, EMU special services on 31 March will run one passenger special between Chennai Beach to Velacheri and another passenger special from Velacheri to Chennai Beach as per the timings given below:

Chennai Beach 11.45 pm
Chepauk 11.55 pm / 12 am
Tirumailai 12.09 am
Velacheri 12.35 am

Velacheri – Chennai Fort passenger special

Station  Velachery to Chennai Beach passenger special (a/d)
Velacheri 11.25 pm
Tirumailai 11.49 pm
Chepauk 11.58 pm and 12.03 am
