Oviya, who made her breakthrough in Tamil cinema in the 2010 hit comic caper, Kalavani, after initial duds, will be seen again Kalavani 2 which will release this summer.
Kalavani 2, has the same director, Sargunam and features the same cast. The filmmakers said, “The second installment will have a fresh premise with unlimited entertainment and a hard-hitting storyline. Vemal and Oviya will be in the lead roles. The same star-cast of Kalavani including Saranya Ponvannan, Ilavarasu, and Ganja Karuppu will be seen sharing the screen space again.”
The makers say Oviya‘s character in Kalavani 2 is the highlight and it is completely contrastive to her role in 90ML. The film crew is exhilarated over the fact that the song Vote-u Kekka Vandhaaingalae has witnessed far-flung popularity as even the political parties are making use of it.
