Chennai: Two men lodged in Puzhal central prison here died due to health issues.
According to the police, Kaja Mohideen (45) of Saidapet, doing time for being involvedĀ in theft cases, suffered from seizures last night and was rushed to Government Stanley Hospital at 11.30 pm.
The police said he died in the hospital without responding to treatment.
This morning, another inmate, Rajagopal (55) of Adyar, remanded in prison 21 August last year after the CB-CID booked him in a cheating case, passed away. He was undergoing treatment for mouth cancer.
