Chennai: Railway Minister and BJP’s Tamilnadu in-charge Piyush Goyal wrapped up his speech in a hurry after a brief disquiet at a meeting he was addressing at Nagercoil in Kanyakumari constituency.
The BJP had organised a political rally in the town to be addressed by Goyal. But when he began to speak, a number of people left.
Trouble began when some press photographers tried to take pictures of the empty chairs. A few angry BJP cadres tried to attack them for clicking those pictures. This led to a minor skirmish in the audience.
Seeing the disquiet, Goyal wrapped up his speech and rushed out, say reports.
