Actor Atharvaa is likely to make his debut in Telugu with Valmiki, the remake of Tamil hit Jigarthanda. To be directed by Harish Shankar, Varun Tej will be playing Bobby Simha’s role in Valmiki.
Harish Shankar felt that Atharvaa will be perfect for Siddharth’s role and the Paradesi actor is also said to have given his nod.
Popular Tollywood production house 14 Reels will be bankrolling the Telugu remake of Jigarthanda and Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose music. The principal shoot of the film will begin in the month of April.
