Law, new courses to be launched in VIT-AP, informs Chancellor

Chennai: Students should come up with new ideas to become techpreneurs and utilise their summer break for internships to gain practical and industrial knowledge, said Srikakulam Dr B R Ambedkar University, Vice-Chancellor and Guntur Acharya Nagarjuna University Vice-Chancellor (in-charge), K Ramji.

He was speaking at the second university day function of Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh, recently.

VIT Chancellor G Viswanathan announced that the university will soon launch new courses – Law, B Tech (AI), B Tech (network security), BBA with Business Analytics in collaboration with Arizona State University.

In collaboration with Toonz Animation India, courses such as animation film-making and visual effects (VFX), animation film-making advanced (AFMA), visual effects-advanced (VFXA), 3D finishing programme (3D FP) have been launched, he said.

The event saw the launch of a chat bot on its website vitap.ac.in

VIT-AP University Vice-President, Sankar Viswanathan, Vice-Chancellor, D Subhakar, registrar, C L V Sivakumar and Andhra Pradesh former Director General of Police, M Malakondaiah participated.
