Chennai: Rajwinder Singh (5/23) picked up a five-wicket haul in the second innings as India Pistons defeated CromBest by an innings and 37 runs in the seventh round of the TNCA First Division league match at the CPT IP Turf Ground here on Sunday.

Left-arm spinner Rajwinder helped his side bundle out CromBest for a paltry 79 in 29.4 overs. It is to be noted that the winner had a 116-run first innings lead. In another match at the MRF – Pachaiyappa’s College ‘A’ Ground, Nelson’s Shoaib Md Khan (5/16) took five wickets to enforce follow-on on Globe Trotters.

Trotters was all-out for 76 in the first innings, courtesy Shoaib’s stunning spell. At the close of play, it was 138 for three in the second innings.
