Erode: Robbers struck at a temple at Nasiyanur, near Bhavani town, and found nothing to loot from the hundi. Later, they escaped.

According to sources, the deity in the temple is worshipped traditionally by Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami’s family. This is the second time an attempt to steal from the temple has taken place.

The police have registered a case and investigation is on.
