Encroachments near Ambattur OT bus stand are increasing with each passing day, say residents. Authorities need to get strict and remove any encroachment present, they say.
“It is common to see vendors increasing in count near a bus stand or a railway station. But these hawkers need to be told that the pavements are not theirs. Once their sale is over, it is only right that they vacate the place. But they never move and authorities too do not seem to be bothered,” said Kavitha, a resident.
Further, residents complain about illegal bike parking near the bus stop and said a dedicated parking lot is the need of the hour for the betterment of everybody.
